Street Painting at Burnsville Jazz Festival

Well another great day provided for a fun street painting at the Burnsville Jazz Festival. It was my first time at the festival and really had a wonderful time. Fortunately I was able to get the street painting completed before the rain set in. Unfortunately this piece is already gone. Oh well, that is what makes the whole process so worth while. The entertainment and the excitement of watching peoples reactions to the event and knowing that it is only temporary. The good news is that the festival director loved it and will be sure to return next year! Here are the pictures of the progress of the painting and also the finished piece.

Hey Sharon, yeah it is. If the rain hadn't gotten it yesterday, the cars driving over the top today would have definitely! Thanks for the comment!

Thanks so much Janet! It is always great to see your notes. I also love the fact that with the street painting, you get to get out of the studio and create outdoors as well. There is just something about working in such an expansive area. Hope your week starts off great.
